This is an overdue thanks you to an exceptional woman who just happens to be my mom. When Sammy was born, she stayed by my side for two weeks. She cleaned, did laundry, fed the baby, fed me, Larry, Jordan, Jack and Angel our dog! She ran to the grocery store, took Jordan for a pedicure, and even found time to pick up stuff for Sammy at Target! She did so much in those two weeks, I was afraid to let her go! I had a hard time with this last pregnancy. When I came home from the hospital, I was sad, scared, and a little overwhelmed this time. I didn't feel confident. The thought of a toddler and a newborn was crazy! Who thought that was a good idea? (I blame Larry! Ha!) She stayed and helped me find my balance and my confidence again. She was patient and helped me to see that I could do it. It was an incredible time for me to spend with her and my newborn and Jack too! I am a better person, a better mom, and a better wife, because of her. I have cried on her shoulders more times then I care to admit. I adore her sense of humor, because it is very close to my own. We can find humor in almost any situation, whether it's appropriate or not! So Mom, thank you for loving me better! Thank you for giving me two weeks instead of one! Thank you for believing in me even when I didn't believe in myself. You are gracious, you are kind and you are LOVED! Here's just a few memories so you can see how much we love you back! I love you mom! You are an exceptional mom and a fabulous friend to me!
