Here is Sam and Dad! We can't figure out who Sam looks like right now. I think all babies kind of look like aliens at first, but that's just me! Sam is such a sweet heart. If we could just get him to figure out that he should sleep during the night and be awake during the day. Oh well! Hope you enjoy!
Here he is as new as can be! This is Samuel Darris Parker. He was born at 1:26 P.M. on April 22, 2009. He weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 22 inches long. Now I understand why I always had toes in my rib cage! I pushed a total of 4 times and he was born. He was beautiful right from the start. His skin was gorgeous and he had really great color and was very healthy. Sam was named after one of Larry's best friends. We are so blessed to have him here with us! Our family is complete and we couldn't be more thrilled. We are tired, but it is worth it! Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes! By the way, thanks to our friends from Utah! Jody, Makalya, and Taylor McMillan came all the way from Utah to surprise us in the hospital! I almost fell over when the nurse said we had visitors and it was the McMillans! They didn't really come just for Sam's birth, it was a GREAT surprise though! Here are just a few pictures of the kids and the doctor and nurses, Nana, Papa, and my sister Nicki. I must be getting older, normally I wouldn't have any pictures of me while I was pregnant. Oh well, Sam's worth it! I have a ton of pictures so I will be posting them from day to day as Sam changes!

He is absolutely beautiful! And you look great for just having gone through an ordeal. Yay! I can't wait to hold him. I still want to bring you dinner but I've been battling the remnants of a sinus infection, Logan developed a gross nose on Tuesday and Brynn decided to vomit last night. I think we'll keep a safe distance for a few more days. Can I please bring you something next week, though????? Once we are all free of this bug I would be happy to take Jack, and Sam if you would like- I won't turn him away, and let you sleep for two or three hours. Seriously. Logan might be just shy of two but I do remember that newborn sleep deprivation all too well.
